We are the Kesterson family; Dale, Sarah, Isabel, Maura, and Jack. We live in Atlantic, IA where I (Dale) am the senior minister at the First Church of Christ. When we moved to western Iowa nine years ago we knew we were entering new territory but we had no idea we were settling on one of the frontiers of the Restoration movement. Coming from the heart of the movement in Southern Ohio we had no idea that the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ were so sparse on the other side of the mid-west. This region needs more churches to be outposts of New Testament Christianity and we believe that NPEA is the answer.

Sarah and I have both been involved in churches that were young, recent church plants and we understand the impact that new congregations can have on their communities. That is why we are excited to have the opportunity to contribute to NPEA both financially and through my involvement as a board member. One of the highlights of my year was being able to see the launch of Whitewater Christian Church in Laramie, WY. The team there is a great example of the missional mindset that will open doors for Jesus to build His church. We continue to pray that God will use NPEA to produce many more life changing churches throughout this region.
