By the grace of God, Mike and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this year. God also blessed us with two wonderful children. Our daughter, Melissa, is 25 and lives in Webster, South Dakota. Our son, Benjamin, is 19 and is attending Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, Missouri. We have been members of the Oakwood Park Christian Church (formerly Central Church of Christ) in Sioux Falls for many years. We thank God we have a church where we can worship. Mike is a deacon and I work in the church library.

Mike and I were married in Worthington, Minnesota and then took off to start our married life together in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was scary moving so far away, but as always, the Lord provides. He blessed us with an amazing church family and a great church to attend. That is why church planting is so important. I don’t know what we would have done without that support especially just being newlyweds. We lived there for 10 years and then moved back to South Dakota. We missed the snow!

We first became involved with NPEA when it was called Dakota Christian Ministries and we helped start a church in Brandon, South Dakota in the early 1990’s. My mom and dad, Mike and I, and our kids had a great time when we went to Spearfish to help with the first service of North Point church. We also had the privilege of recently going on a prayer journey NPEA sponsored that was held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this past June. It was an awesome experience. Partnering with NPEA allows us the privilege of being part of many churches. We feel blessed to be associated with such dedicated people and thank God for all the people that make NPEA work.
