Many of you may know me as the name on the email that sent out the NPEA Monthly Newsletter for several years before we started using the system we are now using. My name is Craig Fausett, I am an Elder in the Church of Christ in Highmore, SD, and I have been a Board Member of NPEA since before we merged with Wyoming. I am married to my wonderful wife Peggy for 37˝ years, and have two children Amy Gebhard and Andrew Fausett. They have provided us with a whole lot of energy since they each have two sons, Caleb, Isaac, Levi and Elijah.
I first met Mike when he came to our church to do a revival just prior to the church plant in Fargo. Our youth group gave Mike a “check” for help on opening Sunday in their nursery or wherever help was needed. That weekend opened a lot of eyes to just how much work it takes to start a church from scratch...
Over the past 10 years, I have been moving toward retirement, and pondering what can we do for Christ kingdom. Peg and I considered that at a time when many say it is time for “those younger to get involved”; that it is actually a time that allows more time to spend volunteering or working with missions. NPEA was an obvious choice for me. We have had the opportunity to travel to Spearfish (2 times), Laramie, and Bismarck (2 times) for Prayer Walks. Now with the upcoming church plant in Bismarck, our church was joined the cause as a Mother Church. This is another opportunity to reach others for Him.
These pray walks help prepare the way for the church and till the soil of the hearts in that area. Those walks have been very spiritually uplifting times. Peggy and I would like to extend the welcome to all of you to consider joining us on one soon. Bismarck needs PRAYER, your prayers. A short mission trip to Bismarck will change your life by deepening your prayer life and maybe opening you to the world outside of your comfort zone. So if you would like to join in on the fun, give NPEA call.
