Since becoming a Christian in high school I have always had an interest in seeing new churches born into cultures and countercultures that had not yet been reached by existing churches. While attending Cincinnati Bible College in the early 1990s I was able to observe several new churches that were reaching otherwise untouched segments of the city’s population. I have always been intrigued by the story of the early church’s expansion in Acts 11:19-20. The vision of these men who began to take the gospel to a totally unreached group of people has been a part of my vision for the church as well. I am anxious to rejoin this discussion as an NPEA board member.
